Jesy Acosta, Allied ASID, NOAPS & NAIA
Owner of Contempo Atelier
Originally from New York and based in Winter Park, Florida, Jesy Acosta is a multi-disciplined Contemporary Artist specializing in abstract expressionist paintings, mixed media and sculptural art. With a successful career as an Interior Designer and design experience spanning 23 years in the architecture industry, Jesy's sophisticated distinctive approach to art and design has gained her commercial appeal. As a Japanese-Cuban American, her heritage and cultural diversity influences many of her works of art.
After having studied Fine Art and Communication at the University of South Alabama, she also went on to receive a technical degree in Design and Drafting, in addition to a degree in Interior Design. Her continued education, professional acknowledgements and industry affiliations have been a natural progression in her career not only as an Interior Designer but also as an Artist.
I gather my influences and inspiration through nature, travel, poetry, personal memories, and music. The visual language of art is one that I approach intuitively with skillful execution enhanced by my education and experience in studio art. Painting is an evolutionary process that develops an Artist to discover how well they can interpret their thoughts into visual art, and communicate emotion through their work. This tactile form of visual communication is a process that is ever changing.
I hope my Art will evoke a positive affirmation by which you can be pleased to showcase in your space. All art on this site is of my original acrylic paintings that I reproduced to share with you.
Thank you for letting Art be a part of your life by visiting my site, and supporting artist's like myself.
